Canada Dragon & Lion Dance Sports Association

Canada Dragon & Lion Dance Sports Association (CDLDSA) is a federally incorporated not-for-profit amateur sport organization based in Edmonton.

CDLDSA is dedicated to the development, governance, and promotion of Dragon Dance and Lion Dance as structured amateur sports. Our programs emphasize physical literacy, teamwork, strength, coordination, and discipline through organized training, coaching development, judging education, and regulated competitions.

We deliver youth and adult programs in partnership with schools and community organizations, with a strong focus on inclusive access, cultural education, and removing barriers to participation. While CDLDSA supports national and international sport development, the majority of our programs and participants are Edmonton-based.
