The REB Invitational is one of the biggest and most sought after High School basketball tournaments in Canada. The tournament features four divisions:

Jasper Place High School plays host to anywhere from 32-38 teams on a yearly basis. Teams travel from all across Canada, the United States and occasionally as far as Australia and China.
The REB has hosted MANY players that have gone on to play basketball in Canadian Colleges and Universities as well as MANY players that have gone on to play NCAA division 1 – and even the NBA – most notably:

Ben Gordon (11 years in the NBA 2004-2015) who played in REB in 1999 as a grade 11 player for the Mount Vernon Knights out of Mt Vernon New York

Kelly Olynyk (2013-2017 with Boston, 2017-2021 Miami, 2021 Houston, 2022 Utah) who played in REB in 2008 as a grade 12 player for the South Kamloops Titans out of South Kamloops British Columbia
