Denise & @tigersskateclub !

We’re proud to shine this month’s spotlight on Denise Biziaev, co-founder and driving force behind Tigers Skate Club — a grassroots movement transforming what it means to belong in sport.

Since its founding in 2019, Tigers Skate Club has been much more than a skateboarding group. It’s a powerful example of what happens when passion meets purpose. Rooted deeply in the Edmonton community, TSC is an inclusive, empowering space where girls, women, and 2SLGBTQIA+ skaters of all ages (from 4 to 50+) can roll in, build confidence, and connect — all in a judgment-free, competition-free environment.

TSC offers weekly meetups, beginner-friendly programming, and community-building sessions that go beyond the board. There’s no competition, no judgment — just space to learn, fall, laugh, and grow. Whether you’re new to skating or have been at it for years, there’s a place for you!

Thank you Denise, for leading the community with heart, wheels, and unwavering care!
