Sport Central Association

Sport Central is a charitable organization dedicated to making sports accessible for youth facing financial hardship. Since 1991, we have been committed to providing free sports equipment and bicycles to kids aged 4 to 17, from Red Deer to the northern Alberta border. We collect gently used sports gear through generous community donations, then carefully repair, refurbish, and redistribute it directly to kids or through community outreach. Each piece of equipment helps remove barriers to participation and gives kids the opportunity to play, grow, and belong. Our mission is changing lives through sport, and our vision is empowering kids—one piece of sports equipment at a time. In 2025, we proudly provided 12,706 kids with 49,011 pieces of equipment—a testament to the growing need and impact of our work.
