The Steadward Centre

The Steadward Centre is a leader in Adapted Physical Activity and Para sport development. We deliver innovative programs and share our knowledge and expertise with community fitness and sport leaders across Alberta. Our Centre offers programs in four main areas, with two areas (Free2BMe and Athlete Development for Para sport programs) supporting athlete and coach development, thus creating a Paralympic pathway in two Summer Paralympic sports. Our mission is to foster community and individual achievement and excellence in Adapted Physical Activity and Para sport by applying innovative research, widely sharing our expertise and delivering quality programs, with and for individuals experiencing disability.
